In addition to our vast product offering, we also offer a number of self build technical services to help comply with Building Rgulations and plan your material requirements.

SAP, PEA and ATT Assessments must be completed by anyone planning a new build under Part L1A Building Regulations and Part J for Scotland.

The Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is the UK Governements recommended method system for measuring the energy rating of residential dwellings.

The calculation takes into account:

• materials used for construction of the dwelling
• thermal insulation of the building fabric

Predicted Energy Assessments (PEA) are simply a way of providing information about energy performance for homes that have not been built yet (off-plan sales).

Air Tightness Testing (ATT) is conducted in order to prove that a home/dwelling meets specific standards in air permeability. An ATT can help reduce carbon emissions and fuel bills.

Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) all new build homes must have an EPC. EPC's contain information on your home's energy use and carbon dioxide emissions and produces a recommendation report with suggestions to reduce energy use. EPC's are required by Building Control before a final certificate can be issued.
