NaSBA - A year of steady progress
What has been achieved in NaSBA's launch year...
The National Self Build Association was formed to persuade Government that self build was a sector that could grow. They produced a report (Self Build as a Volume Housing Solution) and circulated to a large number of politicians. To download the document please visit: www.nasba.org.uk
NaSBA have achieved the following:
- They have met with officials from the Department of Communities and Local Government.
- A result of these discussions, self build is now clearly on the Government's radar.
- They have also met with the Conservative Party's housing team and persuaded them to become enthusiastic supporters of self build.
- Progress has been made with the Homes and Communities Agency.
- They have presented the first Murray Armor award for Britain's most determined self builder.
